Home buyers are flocking to The Creek at Willowick where new home sites just opened up. The third and final phase is the last chance to get a new construction home in the central Wilmington community. Located off Masonboro Loop Road and in one of Wilmington’s most sought after school districts, it’s no wonder phase one of The Creek at Willowick sold out in less than a year. Phase two only has two lots left and in response to the overwhelming demand for the area, Stevens Fine Homes is now opening up phase three ahead of schedule. A waiting list has already formed.
“There’s been a lot of excitement about phase three, a lot of interest,” says New Home Specialist Courtney Schmitter, stating she’s been taking reservations daily. The 33 lots in phase three are prime wooded and cul-de-sac properties, a select few with views of Whiskey Creek.
The Creek at Willowick is perfectly situated just minutes from both Wrightsville and Carolina beaches and minutes from marinas or downtown. The new movie theater and shopping complex The Pointe at Barclay is just up the street, and Willowick is a short drive to Mayfaire or the mall.
“This has been a great selling community. We are right in the center of Wilmington, and a lot of people want to be here.” she said.
Buyers rave over the coastal craftsman style homes in Willowick featuring popular shake and board and batten exteriors with stone accents. Lined with sidewalks and lamp post street lights, Willowick is bordered by conservation preserves and buffered by large, mature hardwood trees. Even with all the buzz, Stevens Fine Homes remains committed to keeping prices affordable. Buyers can get into a new home for as low as $239,900.
“We are so happy to have found this incredible gem where our son will grow up and develop friendships that will last a lifetime, said Willowick homeowner Stefanie Adams.
“From day one, we knew we had found a special neighborhood,” she said.
Home buyers at Willowick get to choose from six different home plans ranging from 1,950 to 3,187 square feet including The Beaufort that debuted in the spring and gained popularity for its downstairs master and mud room with built-ins. The Kramer family picked Stevens’ signature plan, The Nicklaus.
“The open floor plan of the Nicklaus fit our lifestyle perfectly and included an enormous playroom for our son. The building process went smoothly and we were able to move in exactly when promised. My husband and I say "did I tell you how much I love this house" to each other at least once a week,” said Teresa Kramer.
Four inventory homes now under construction will be move-in ready this fall, or buyers can design their own home using the Stevens Fine Homes exclusive Create Your Home design tool. It allows buyers to conveniently select finishes and colors from the convenience of their computer using specially crafted design packages put together by the experts at TEAL design firm in Raleigh.
The Creek at Willowick’s new model home at 3306 Kellerton Place is now open Monday through Saturday, and Sunday by appointment. Access The Creek at Willowick from Navaho Trail off Masonboro Loop Road. New homes in The Creek at Willowick are listed by Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage.
